The ATOM XT series knife cutting systems provides a turn-key solution for design, rapid prototyping & production, coupled with a unique software package with powerful features that make the process from design to cutting simple and accurate. The new XT range of dieless knife cutting systems was designed for a wide range of industrial fields including; graphics, technical textiles, composites, textiles & apparel, furniture, footwear and leathergoods, gaskets, foam & general converting. The choice between a fixed cutting surface or a conveyorized surface is no longer a problem, ATOM XT range can offer both; XTS Systems with Static Bed Cutting Surface XTC Systems with Conveyorized Cutting Surface The continuous cutting operation performed by the conveyor-bed offers maximum production and through-put of cut parts. The material is fed onto the bed of the machine into the "cutting zone" (material can be in roll or sheet form). Once the components are cut, the conveyorized-bed feeds to a take-off area located at the front of the machine. The operator can strip the cut parts while the machine automatically reloads the material and the cutting process continues. Main Features:

Multi-Sector Zoned Vacuum Non-movement of the material during cutting is of primary importance for repeatability and accuracy. Therefore, the new XT series was equipped with the same multi-sector zoned vacuum system as the traditional ATOM Flashcut. Suction by sector is now an automatic function, which controls the opening of the necessary sectors pertinent to the material shape and size by means of a dedicated software control. Easiness to Change from Static Bed to Conveyorized Bed With the new designed tables the sectors have been redistributed so we can use the same architecture for both the static bed & conveyorized bed. This feature is useful for customers who wish to retrofit their static bed to a conveyorized bed in the future. Variety of Powerful Vacuum Pumps According to the system's size, type of material to be cut & possible noise limitations, we can supply vacuum pumps with different power such as: -4 kW low level noise pump, for small sized tables and or non-porous materials, covering the whole cutting area where the vacuum sectors are open. Variety of ATOM Cutting Heads -5 Tool Cutting Head (knife chuck {electric, pneumatic, PRC or tangential}, pricker tool, plotting pen & two punching tools, creasers or kiss-cutting knife). -4 Tool Cutting Head w. Camera (knife chuck{electric, pneumatic, PRC or tangential}, plotting pen & two punching tools, creasers or kiss-cutting knife). *The cutting head with camera is primarily used for graphics and printed materials. It allows cutting materials re-aligning the profile of the shape with the printing. -2 Tool Cutting Head (knife chuck{electric, pneumatic, PRC or tangential} & plotting pen. Powered Rotary Cutter (PRC) A 20W motor drives the cutting wheel (turning @ 5,000 rpm) granting a consistent cut, ideal for several kinds of textiles (technical included). The PRC chuck can mount two different wheels: a decagonal tool with 28,, diameter and a dodecagonal tool with 36mm diameter suitable for cutting technical textiles like aramid fabrics, "Goretex" and "Cordura". Standard pizza wheel knifes are also available both in carbide and steel, suitable for fabrics like cotton, wool & silk. Interactive Layout Software for Machine Control Software forms a key element to all CNC systems. With ATOM's powerful nesting software, you have the ability to nest parts within parts enhancing production efficiency and reducing material scrap, creation of nest lists, & job storage.
