The ATOM Flashcut flatbed knife cutting system are the ideal dieless cutting solution for over-sized, difficult to cut, synthetic materials. ATOM developed this series with needs of automotive & furniture upholstery in mind; for example model 61260, the largest table produced by ATOM, can accommodate 2 full bovine hides at the same time. In addition, models such as the 15155 (1.550 mm x 1.550 mm) or 30155 (3.050 mm x 1.550 mm) suit a wide range of industrial fields; from gaskets (in their various forms, tang graphite included), to rubber & it's by-products, open & closed cell foam materials, adhesive backed products, technical textiles, composites and many more.

ATOM's unique nesting software operates easily & efficiently with or without a digital camera.
The operator can leverage his/her experience in evaluating material & shapes to be cut and decide if using interactive nesting, automatic nesting, or place some parts manually and let the software fill the materia automatically. It is also possible to set different constraints on different shape groups, limit the available rotation for example. Furthermore, it is possible to mark quality areas & defects on the material so that the automatic nesting can properly place shapes respecting quality constraints; each shape can be divided into different quality areas.
